Our Story: Born from Passion, Perfected for You Have you ever bought a luxury fragrance you truly loved, only to realize that within a few hours—especially in hot weather—the scent completely disappears? That frustration is exactly where the journey of Viestilo began. For more than a decade, Rahul S (Founder), Sharon S (Co-founder), and their close friend Juned shared a deep passion for fine fragrances. As perfume enthusiasts and collectors, they explored over 100 different scents ranging from elegant French perfumes to rich Middle Eastern ouds and traditional Indian attars. But while building this collection, they discovered a major problem in the modern fragrance industry: most perfumes simply were not designed for tropical climates like India.

The Problem with Modern Fragrances Most luxury perfumes are created for colder European weather, which means they struggle to perform in India’s heat and humidity. Fragrances lose their freshness quickly, weak projection makes them fade unnoticed, and synthetic mass-market scents often smell similar on everyone without adapting naturally to individual body chemistry. Beyond that, perfumes are usually marketed only as products to “smell good,” without considering how a fragrance should fit into a person’s lifestyle, mood, wardrobe, or daily environment. This gap in the industry inspired the team to create something more meaningful and long-lasting

The Science Behind Viestilo Driven by curiosity and passion, the founders spent years studying the science of perfumery in tropical conditions. They researched how body chemistry changes the way fragrances perform, how heat and humidity affect evaporation, and how perfumes interact differently with skin and fabrics. Using this knowledge, they developed high-concentration blends with stronger middle and base notes that last longer and project beautifully even in warm climates.
